Anambra’s Successful Election Marks Dead End Of IPOB- Lai Mohmmed

Lai Mohammed
The minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammed has said that the successful and peaceful conduct during the Anambra Governorship election shows that the Independent people of Biafra (IPOB) is dead and buried.
The minister said this while addressing media reporters in Abuja on Wednesday.
He said thethe turnout of voters during the polls has diminished the IPOB contrary to the call for the seat at home by the group.
During his address he said:

“I think what that proved really is that IPOB does not represent the good people of Anambra or any state in the South East.“The people of Anambra have shown that there is no alternative to democracy and that they believe in one Nigeria and federal system of government.”
The minister stated that issues can be resolved if there is,but said terrorism and separatism is never an answer.
The minister of information continued by saying that the election in Anambra has sounded the death knell on IPOB because they said that the election will not hold but the election has come and gone and turned out peaceful and successful as the citizens have elected their governor.
