Premier League campaigners Manchester United have reportedly submitted a world record fee of £100 million for them to land Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale to Old Trafford next season. According to the report, United gaffer Jose Mourinho initially had the interest to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, but the Frenchman has turned his back for a move to England.
Bale has missed the last six weeks of the season with a calf injury, but he made a remarkable appearance in the 2017 final of the UEFA Champions League where Real Madrid defeated Italian side Juventus.
