Lagos Governor Ambode saves 18 prison inmates

- The prison inmates were ordered to be released after Governor Akinwunmi Ambode signed their prerogative of mercy 

- The team from the Lagos state government advised the released inmates to change their ways as they join their families The Lagos state Advisory Council on Prerogative of Mercy has ordered the Nigerian Prisons Service to immediately release of 18 inmates serving life sentences at the Kirikiri Maximum Prison. 
www.chizconet.blogspot.com learnt that the 18 inmates included 15 male and 3 females serving life sentences for various offences and had spent more than 30 years in incarceration. The order was handed over to the prison service through the state’s Controller of Prisons, Mr Olatunbosun Ladipo.
