Okorocha attacks Imo people calling for zoning in 2019

- In Imo state, there is currently a big battle for who to take over from Governor Rochas Okorocha in 2019 when his tenure ends -

Okorocha slammed thos agitating form zoning and reminded them that he has performed well because he is not a product of zoning Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo has come hard on residents of the state currently clamouring for an unwritten zoning principle to be adopted concerning who emerges in 2019. NAIJ.com reports that there have been agitations for the governorship seat to be zoned to Owerri, but the governor described them as educated illiterates, uniformed and clanish. According to Okorocha, those calling for zoning do not have the capacity to govern.

He also argued that he had the opportunity to perform excellently because he was never a product of zoning like it is being clamoured for currently.

The governor argued that Imo was different from Kogi, Plateau, Benue and others with different ethnic groups and in need of power banlancing.
